Parquillian Design

I created this book cover design using Adobe Illustrator for PGN Publishing‘s
Season 2 Anthology “IMPROVS in black & white,” which is available through
Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Bookshop.org, among other outlets.

The front cover design of this book features the words for “black” and “white” in 258 languages from around the world. It is designed to display a small sample of the amazing diversity inherent in the approximately 7000 languages still spoken today, though many of them are in danger of going extinct in the near future, each of them carrying important cultural information that will be lost.
The back cover features a key to the languages used.
