Parquillian Design

This is a book cover I created based on an idea I’ve had for a novel.

The three layers of design are meant to represent three different environments and cultures the protagonist encounters after landing on an uncharted planet. The first layer is one icon from a novelty font repeated and layered over itself. The other layers were created in Illustrator, and the full cover and sample page were assembled in InDesign.
